This page has nothing to do with rabbits. It is about me and how I became the person I am today.
On this page I would like to share some the many wonderful lessons I have learned along life's journey through many special people in my life.  Some are life changing and some are just life's simple but valuable lessons.
Growing up I was blessed with awesome parents. My father was a great man of integrity. He was the one person I looked up to most and still do even though he passed away over 22 years ago. He was taught me many lessons but I will only share 2 right now.
At 8 years old, I went to work with him at his store one day. His employee brought me across the street to get hot chocolate. When I returned, I was delighted to tell my dad that the man at Blimpie's had given me an extra quarter. He smiled and told me I had to bring it back. I asked him why and he said, " It is not yours. It wasn't a gift and you didn't work for it, did you? You have to be honest."  It seems simple, but what we take should only be what we earn or what has been freely and knowingly given to us-a gift.  So I returned to Blimpie's with my dad's employee (who was on the clock being paid for all this--probably costing my dad much more than the quarter ) to return the quarter. I can't tell you what an impact that simple lesson has had on me even after decades have passed. He taught me honesty, integrity generosity and another important human lesson--"never pass up an opportuntiy to help another person in need!!"
Another great lesson I have learned along the way is from my Lord Jesus:
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. The second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' "
Matthew 22:37-40

Not to us, O LORD, not to us but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness.

Psalm 115:1.
